In 2005 Jakob Norgren started a record company, primarily to release his own music. The company was named Wide Meadow Music after the area in Stockholm where he lives, Bredäng. In 2010 the name of the label was shortened to Wime.

2007-2009 the records were distributed by CDA and from 2010 by Border.

The cover artwork of all Wime releases (except Happy Hour) is signed Patrik Gebhardt.

Wime has an open mind to different styles of music. Soul/r&b, jazz, electronica, nu-jazz...  Rootsy or futuristic doesn’t matter as long as it feels wimy!
